Restrict Access to University Garden
Professors in the botany department conduct research on the plants and flowers that grow in the university botanical garden. However, it has become difficult for us to do this research, because students who visit the garden often pick the flowers and step on the plants. I think the university should close the garden to students and other visitors and only allow researchers in the area. This would ensure the protection of the plants and flowers so they can be used for research purposes. Also, there are a few parks located near town, not far from the university so students would still have ample opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.
Sincerely,
Professor Mary Green
Did you see this? I hope they don't do that. A lot of people enjoy going there.
Sounds like the professors think it's necessary, though.
Well, I think that's kind of extreme. If they wanna take care of it, they should start by actually letting us know that it needs to be protected.
I don't think most students are even aware that they do research there.
Yeah, this is the first time i've heard about it me too.
So if students were better informed about the studies and all, then I'm sure they'd be more careful. They'd stay on the paths and they wouldn't disturb anything.
If we know about the rules, we'll follow them agreed.
Also, it bothers me because I think she's wrong about students having other possibilities.
Oh, yeah.
The thing about the parks, yeah, I mean they're not as easy for us to get to as she makes it seem. They're too far away to walk, to write. I mean, if you had a car, maybe, yeah, but most students don't. And there's no public transportation out there either. We really rely on having this beautiful spot right here on campus. So if they take it away, I don't know. We wouldn't have many options left. Would we know it'd be a shame?
Task 3:
Audience Profile
Task4
Two ways arctic mammals break through ice to get air
C卷
Task1:
Some people think that parents should control how their children save and spend their money. Others think that children should be free to spend their money as they wish. Which view do you agree with? Explain why.
Task 2
1.学生可以Get to know with the events weekly;
2.Can help the students to adjust their calendar and choose to attend。
Task 3
一种fish,当他刚出生的时候,他们会去找他们的adult,然后进入adult的嘴里,然后就可以prevent from the attack of shark。
Task 4
two techniques of taking photos

1.new technology:
3.factory can reduce transportation cost:

Today, we're discussing parenting styles. Some parents think that giving children money for their high grades motivates children to work harder and achieve better academic results, while others believe it can have negative long-term effects on a child's attitude toward learning. What are your thoughts? Should parents offer their school-age children money as a reward for earning high grades in school?
Kelly
I don't think it's a good idea to pay children for good grades. While it might seem like an effective way to motivate them in the short term, it can send the wrong message about the purpose of learning. Children might start focusing only on the money rather than developing a genuine interest in education or understanding the value of knowledge. Over time, this could lead to a lack of intrinsic motivation, where they only study for external rewards instead of personal growth.
Andrew
I believe offering money for high grades can be a good idea. It gives children a clear incentive to work hard and stay focused on their studies, especially when they might not yet understand the long-term benefits of education. For example, younger children often respond well to tangible rewards, and this can help them build good study habits early on. Over time, children may develop a sense of accomplishment and pride in their work, even without the financial incentive.

Secondary or high school students (ages 14-18) who plan to attend university must begin thinking about what field of study they'll enter. Some students might be directed into certain fields by their parents and teachers. Others prefer to make their own choice based on their own interests and feelings. Do you believe that secondary school students should be allowed to choose their own field of study at university without being guided by parents and teachers? Why?
Kelly
I think it's a mistake to let students at that age make such an important decision on their own. They usually don't have the wisdom to choose appropriately. The people who know them best-their parents and teachers-will be more objective and give the best guidance.
Andrew
Choosing a field of study, and perhaps a career in that field, based mainly on what others tell you to do seems wrong to me. My parents wanted me to study engineering, but I'm not interested in that; I want to help people learn. I know I'll struggle more financially as a teacher, but I'm sure I'll be happier.

1.Commercial fishing,
2.Poison,

This week, we will discuss issues faced by secondary school administrators. I’m referring to schools for teenager students. One such issue is students who change schools. Students change schools for many different reasons, the most common being a family move. On the discussion board, I want you to exchange ideas about what schools can do to make the transition to a new school easier for teenagers.
Paul
I think schools should assign new students a fellow student who can help them adjust. The "student buddy" can do things like making sure the new student can find the cafeteria or the right classrooms. For new students, it's a lot easier to ask a fellow student a question rather than ask a teacher or the principal.
Claire
I would require new students to sign up for some school club or activity that meets outside of class. That way, new students would have an easy way to meet other students in a friendly environment. It would give them a group to immediately identify with.
