化石是研究远古生物的重要材料，我们日常所见的化石通常包括动物骨骼、贝壳，以及某些动物活动后留下的足迹等。这些遗存为了解古代动物的形态、生活方式和生存环境提供了关键证据。

罗马帝国的瓦解会带来什么样的变化：罗马帝国的瓦解会带来各个权力的碎片化，然后以及他们之间会有各种各样的斗争，但是后半段提到瓦解并不是只会带来这些坏处，它也保持了古罗马的文化，所以整体还是有争论的。

1.dark stores是一种类似仓库的零售中心，主要服务线上订单，不接待到店顾客。它们兴起的原因是线上购物需求增加，尤其是在城市地区。它们的最大优势是效率高，但同时也带来一些问题：冲击传统实体店、工作岗位减少。最后讲到了未来发展。
2.西伯利亚爆炸坑：西伯利亚出现巨大“爆炸坑（gas emission craters）”的原因，以及它和全球变暖之间的关系。2014年，西伯利亚经历异常高温。同年，飞行员发现了巨大的圆柱形深坑，后来科学家又发现了更多类似坑洞。原因是西伯利亚地下有大量天然气，全球变暖后，天然气爆炸冲出地面，形成巨大深坑。
3.Film Class 回忆：讲的是两种不同的纪录片/电影拍摄方式的对比。其中一种是 documentaries另一种似乎是ethnographic films。
4.人类学中对动物的态度,对比了传统人类学与multispecies anthropology。传统视角秉持human-centered理念，割裂culture与nature，只把动物当作人类的资源与象征；而多物种人类学认为人类和动植物、真菌是共生参与者，拥有agency并相互影响，生命本是万物交织的关系网络。
