My judgment tendency:
· Clarity of expression > speed of speech: it is more important to be able to speak clearly than to speak quickly, and I refuse to read from a script in a "machine-gun style".
· Logical depth＞number of arguments/extensions: It is better to make a thorough argument than to pile up ten half-baked products.
· Field adaptation > rote memorization: the team that will adjust its strategy according to the opponents is more pleasing to the eye, and hates the robot that reads the script with its head down the whole time.
· Debate manners: you can ask sharp questions, but rolling your eyes/interrupting your opponent will deduct points.
Special Bonus Points:
· Explaining complex concepts with life-like analogies (e.g., comparing self-driving policy to the gradual process of "learning to ride a bicycle")
· Teammates tacitly complementing each other during free debates (e.g., A digs in the hole and says "your data is outdated," and B follows up with a specific case immediately)
Not Recommended:
× Pretending to be advanced by piling on jargon
× Personal attacks or yin yang
× Mechanical repetition of the summation without sorting out the exchanges
Note: I want to see "traces of thinking" rather than proficiency in memorization.
我的裁决倾向如下：
- 表达清晰度 > 说话速度：能够清晰表达比快速说话更重要，我拒绝以“机关枪式”的风格照本宣科。
- 逻辑深度 > 论点数量/扩展：深入论证比堆砌十个半成品更好。
- 现场适应性 > 死记硬背：能够根据对手调整策略的团队更具观赏性，而整天低头照本宣科的“机器人”则令人反感。
- 辩论礼仪：你可以提出尖锐的问题，但翻白眼或打断对手将被扣分。
- 特别加分项：※ 用生动的比喻解释复杂概念（例如，将自动驾驶政策比作“学习骑自行车”的渐进过程）
※ 队友在自由辩论中默契配合（例如，A指出“你的数据过时了”，B立即跟进具体案例）
在执裁过程中我不太喜欢的是：
× 通过堆砌专业术语来装深奥
× 人身攻击或阴阳怪气
× 机械地重复总结而不梳理交流观点
注意：我希望看到“思考的痕迹”，而非你对文本有多熟悉、记忆力有多好。

During judging, I tend to favour clear logic (clear mechanisms, solutions), organized structure, and strong presence. I don’t mind fast or slow speaking as long as it's clear and understandable. I’m open to different viewpoints, but they must be well-supported and thoughtfully delivered.
在执裁过程中，我更关注选手是否展现出清晰的逻辑（清晰的机制和解决方案）、有条理的结构以及强大的表现力。我并不介意说话速度快慢，只要表达清晰易懂即可。我对不同观点持开放态度，但这些观点必须有充分的依据并经过深思熟虑再呈现出来。

I don’t really have a problem with speaking speed but I pref-fer before they go into there speeches they give a quick outline then they can quickly expand on their points.
我对说话速度本身没有太大意见，但我更希望他们在开始演讲前先简要概述一下内容，然后再详细展开他们的观点。

Throughout my judging experience, I have noticed that every debater brings unique strengths to the round, some speak with lightning speed, while others take a more deliberate pace. While I can generally keep up with moderate speed, I do struggle when arguments are delivered too rapidly without clear articulation or proper signposting. But here is what matters most to me: clarity over speed, logic over volume, and engagement over perfection. I appreciate debaters who adapt their delivery to ensure their arguments land effectively, whether that means slowing down on key points or streamlining their case for better flow. At the end of the day, I recognize that everyone is on their own debate journey, and my role is to meet them where they are while helping them grow. What impresses me is not just polished delivery, but the willingness to learn, adjust, and engage meaningfully with the debate.
在我的执裁经历中，我注意到每位辩手都会为比赛带来独特的优势，有的辩手说话速度极快，而有的则采取更为稳健的节奏。虽然我通常能跟上中等语速的辩论，但当论点被过快地提出且缺乏清晰的表达或适当的引导时，我确实会感到吃力。对我来说，最重要的是：清晰度胜过速度，逻辑胜过音量，参与度胜过完美。我欣赏那些能根据情况调整表达方式以确保论点有效传达的辩手，无论是通过在关键点放慢速度，还是简化论点以提升流畅性。
归根结底，我明白每个人都有自己的辩论方式，而我要做的就是根据选手的实际水平提供指导并帮助他们成长。能够给我留下深刻印象的不仅是流畅的表达，更是愿意学习、调整并以有意义的方式参与辩论的态度。
- 语速不是问题，但在观点多而语速快的时候，可以在展开叙述前先概述一下主要内容方便裁判理解观点；
- 切勿堆砌资料或数据，重在展现自己对观点的思考，对辩论真诚的态度和积极的投入与你的观点一样重要；
- 根据现场情况灵活应，远比死记硬背照本宣科更能够打动裁判。
