The LWS Division held its grand opening ceremony for the 2025-2026 academic year on campus. All faculty and students assembled together, ushering in the new school year with a solemn yet vibrant ceremony and witnessing the commencement of a new journey.

学校创始人方先生发表了深情而充满力量的讲话。他回顾了LWS美高的创校初心与砥砺征程，并对全体新生表示了最热烈的欢迎。方先生以一位教育者和前辈的视角，讲述自己的过往于感受，鼓励同学们要“放眼全球，扎根文化，勇与挑战，成为连接中外的桥梁式领袖人才”。他的话语高屋建瓴，为同学们的成长之路描绘了宏伟的蓝图。
Mr. Fang, the school's founder, delivered a heartfelt and powerful address. He reflected on LWS's founding vision and its journey of perseverance, extending his warmest welcome to all incoming students. Speaking from the perspective of an educator and mentor, Mr. Fang shared his personal experiences and insights, encouraging students to “think globally, ground themselves in culture, embrace challenges, and become bridge-building leaders connecting China and the world.” His words offered a visionary perspective, charting a grand blueprint for the students' journey of growth.

Principal Meng delivered an opening address for the new semester, focusing on academic excellence and personal growth. He outlined specific expectations and requirements for students in the coming year. Emphasizing the importance of “self-discipline, intellectual curiosity, and exploration,” he introduced the diverse academic resources and platforms available at the school. He encouraged students to embrace proactive learning and deep thinking, urging them to build a solid academic foundation on the fertile ground of LWS and embark on their own new academic journey.

典礼上，学校对上一学年不同竞赛获奖学生进行表彰，同时还有校级领导力、班级、老师等方面表现优异的同学们和老师进行了表彰。聚光灯下，获奖同学们手捧证书，他们的成绩不仅是个人的荣耀，更是对“Leadership, Wisdom, Success”精神的最佳诠释，为所有同学树立了熠熠生辉的榜样。
At the ceremony, the school honored students who had won awards in various competitions during the previous academic year. Additionally, students and teachers who demonstrated outstanding performance in school-level leadership, class activities, and teaching were recognized. Under the spotlight, award recipients held their certificates proudly. Their achievements represent not only personal glory but also the finest embodiment of the “Leadership, Wisdom, Success” spirit, setting a shining example for all students.

学生代表Asher站上了讲台，他代表全体学生，抒发了对高中生活的期待与梦想。他的发言激情澎湃，表达了成为“LWSer”的自豪感，并承诺将珍惜时光、勤勉向上，与所有同学一道以青春之我，创建青春之校园，奔赴青春之未来。
The student representative took the podium, speaking on behalf of all students to express their aspirations and dreams for high school life. His impassioned speech conveyed the pride of becoming a “LWSer,” pledging to cherish every moment and strive diligently. Together with all classmates, he vowed to build a vibrant campus with youthful energy and embrace a promising future.

活动的最后，迎来了最令人兴奋的环节
——学生会及学生社团招新预热！
学生会副主席Grace以及学生会活动部部长Anna生动地介绍了学生会的架构和如何通过参与自治来锻炼领导力、服务同学，还有美高第五届电影节宣讲。随后，社团代表Virginia也是介绍了美高的社团活动，并且9月2日也会举办美高一年一度社团招新，期待着学生的到来。
这里，不仅是课堂，更是发现自我、展示才华的万花筒。你的兴趣，总能在这里找到同好；你的梦想，总能在这里找到舞台！我们热烈期待每一位同学的加入，为我们的学生社群注入新的活力！
