计算机科学 (以下简称CS) 堪称全美顶尖院校中最具挑战性的专业之一，这一点已是普遍共识。毫无疑问，CS专业的回报十分丰厚。但这份毕业后的光明前景，首先得经受住极其严苛的课程磨砺。因此，一些顶尖院校对CS专业申报及院内转系设立门槛也就不足为奇了。
今天，我们重点聊聊公立大热门——密歇根大学安娜堡分校(简称UMich)对申报CS项目的最新政策。
Previously, a selection process was implemented to restrict enrollment in the Computer Science major, which required students to apply for selection to the major at the time of their application to the University of Michigan.As teaching capacity has grown and enrollment has stabilized, this requirement has been removed as of Spring 2026.
计算机科学专业现面向工程学院及文理学院内所有符合本专业申报要求的学生开放。
此前，为控制计算机科学专业招生规模，大学曾实施选拔机制，要求学生必须在申请阶段被CS专业直接录取，否则无法读CS专业。随着教学能力提升与招生规模趋于稳定，此项要求已于2026年春季起正式取消。
简单来说，无论申请阶段是否锁定CS方向，是否通过提前选拔，乃至入学后才萌生转专业意向，工程学院或文理学院内部就读学生，自2026春起，无需提前选拔，满足课程和GPA要求即可申报CS专业。
The Computer Science major is open toany student in the College of Engineering or the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) who meets the declaration requirements for the major. Declaration requirements can be found in the relevant program guide.
官网进一步明确新政适用对象：
- 申请时勾选了CS提前选拔但未被录取者
- 申请时未勾选CS提前选拔者
- 未勾选提前选拔或未将CS作为意向专业的转学生
官方给出的解释是：教学能力提升和入学人数趋于稳定。从非官方数据上看，CS核心课EECS 281的注册人数从2023年秋的1100+人降至2026年秋的521人，降幅超52%，教学资源出现富余，这是松绑的现实背景。
给申请者的实用判断
- "曲线救国"在校内层面重新走通了。如果你被UMich的 文理学院或工程学院录取 (即使不是CS专业)，入学后通过修满要求的课程，且保持GPA，有机会申报CS；
- UMich整体录取率仅15%–20%，国际生低于5%，先进UMich再转CS的前提是先拿到UMich的offer，但这一步本身并不轻松；
- "取消限制"≠"随便进"。申报CS仍需满足先修课和GPA等declaration requirements，竞争依然存在，只是从"申请季一次性筛选"变成了入学后看学术表现。
文理学院或工程学院的学生申报CS专业的先决条件，建议以CSE官网本科招生页 (Undergraduate Admissions) 为总入口，并查阅最新版CS-Eng Program Guide和CS-LSA Program Guide中的Declaration Requirements为准。
例如，CS-Eng的实际操作流程是：学生必须满足Program Guide中列出的全部申报要求，填写declaration request form后，由工作人员审核资格并告知结果。这是一个"审核制"，不是"达标即自动准入"。CS-LSA也明确要求先修课 (EECS 203或MATH 465/565、EECS 280、MATH 115、MATH 116) 且全部课程成绩达到C或以上 。
