备受瞩目的2023 John locke今天开题了，而且今年规则发生了变化，这一点官网在一开始就提醒大家！总结一下重点就是：
1. 今年需要提前注册，3月15开始，5月31日截止。官方建议尽早注册和提交，提交截止日还是6/30日。

竞赛简介 Project Introduction
John Locke Essay Competition写作竞赛是由位于英国牛津的独立教育组织John Locke Institute与牛津、普林斯顿、布朗、白金汉大学等名校教授合作组织的学术项目。每年暑期，竞赛吸引了全球最擅长思考和写作的中学生。往届优胜者遍布哈佛、耶鲁、普林斯顿、斯坦福、牛津、剑桥等世界名校。
这项比赛不仅考察学生在政治、哲学等几个学科领域内的基本知识结构，更意在考察学生是否具有成熟的学术写作习惯，是否具有独立思考的能力以及清晰的逻辑辩证分析能力。
John Locke相信优秀的教育不仅教导学生知识，更会授人以渔，帮助学生积极进步，建立对于知识的热爱和尊重。
所有的论文奖都是由来自牛津大学的资深学者评选的。评委将从每个主题类别中选择自己喜欢的论文，并从以下七个主题中选择“最佳论文”：

竞赛规则 Contest Rules
参赛时间：2023.1~2023.6.30
参赛资格：参赛资格：各个国家18岁以下的学生都可以参与，Junior不能超过14岁
参赛要求：7大主题：哲学、政治、经济、历史、心理学、神学。每个学生只能报名每个类别中的一个题目，但可以报多个类别，撰写2000字以内的学术论文
参赛收费：免费
入围通知时间：2023年7月31日
学术会议和颁奖晚宴：2023年9月
奖项：所有入围选手（short-listed）都可以获得电子证书；每个类别都会评出一二三等奖（各一名），一名世界冠军，还有2000美元的奖学金，还会邀请到牛津参加颁奖典礼。
