Social Justice Awards 2026 Fall 正式开启！

Social Justice Awards是由青少年非营利组织Social Justice Watcher (SJW) 所举办的公益项目，旨在通过鼓励青少年进行写作、演讲与艺术创作，引导青少年关注社会不平等现象，促使青年人思考并通过自身行动改变社会。

在往届活动中，我们收到来自中国、新加坡、美国、英国、加拿大、荷兰、瑞士、日本、泰国、新西兰、南非等地区420多所中学，超过4600名学生的作品。多位优秀参与者被哈佛大学、耶鲁大学、哥伦比亚大学、斯坦福大学、达特茅斯学院、宾夕法尼亚大学、芝加哥大学、西北大学、布朗大学、杜克大学、康奈尔大学、牛津大学等世界名校录取。

此次活动，我们邀请了来自哈佛大学，普林斯顿大学，巴纳德学院，复旦大学，芝加哥艺术学院，布尔日国立高等艺术学院，中央圣马丁艺术与设计学院，上海工艺美院，华东师范大学的教授担当本次活动的特邀专家。

活动背景

2026 Fall 主题：

“Nourishing the Future: Advancing Global Food Security”

全球仍有数百万人面临重重障碍，无法获得充足、安全且富有营养的食物。联合国发布的《世界粮食安全和营养状况报告》（The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World）显示，目前全球约有7亿至7.35亿人长期处于饥饿状态，另有超过20亿人面临中度或重度粮食不安全，即无法稳定获得足够且有营养的食物。与此同时，全球每年生产的食物中，约有三分之一——约13亿吨——被浪费或损失，反映出粮食供给与获取之间存在严重失衡。

世界粮食计划署（WFP）指出，目前全球有数亿人正遭受严重粮食不安全问题，其背后的主要原因包括战争与冲突、经济动荡、气候变化以及供应链中断等。近年来，粮食价格上涨和通货膨胀进一步削弱了人们的购买力，尤其是低收入群体，使得健康、均衡的饮食在许多地区变得越来越难以负担。

儿童是受影响最严重的群体之一。最新数据显示，全球有超过1亿名五岁以下儿童因长期营养不良而出现生长迟缓。这不仅会影响他们的身体发育，还会削弱学习能力，并对未来的发展机会造成长期影响。当一个家庭无法稳定获得充足且有营养的食物时，带来的后果远不止饥饿本身，还会波及公共健康、教育质量、经济发展以及社会稳定等多个层面。

事实上，全球生产的粮食总量足以养活所有人口，但饥饿问题依然存在。这说明，问题并非单纯源于粮食短缺，而更多在于资源分配不均、食物负担能力不足，以及制度层面的种种障碍。因此，粮食安全不仅是农业议题，更关乎社会公平、可持续发展以及每个人应有的尊严。

活动题目 Prompts:

1. “Freedom is meaningless if people cannot put food in their stomachs.” - Nelson Mandela. How do you understand this quote?
2. Why does hunger persist in a world capable of producing enough food for everyone?
3. Should food be treated primarily as a market commodity or as a public good?
4. Share a personal experience or observation related to food access in your community or country. What did this experience teach you about inequality or responsibility?

所有参与者必须从以上题目中选择一个作为作品主题，通过写作、艺术作品或演讲表达自己的观点。

参与条件 Entry Requirements：

任何国家地区任何学校，且年龄在提交截止日期时未超过20岁的青少年均可参加。

写作作品要求 Writing Requirements

• 作品必须使用 英文 撰写
• 叙事文或议论文：600–2000 字（不含参考文献）
• 诗歌：不超过 80 行
• 作品必须为原创
• 如引用他人作品，须包含文内引用与参考文献
• 一旦发现抄袭或使用 AI 生成内容，将直接取消参赛资格
• 请勿包含任何个人信息（如姓名、家庭住址等）

• The work must be written in English
• Narratives or Essays (600-2000 words excluding references); Poetry (no more than 80 lines)
• Participants must complete their work originally. Participants must include in-text citations and a bibliography if other works are cited.
• Once the participant is found to plagiarize or use AI in any part of their work, he or she will be disqualified directly.
• Do not include any personal information, such as name, home address, etc

写作作品格式 Writing Formats

• 仅接受 Microsoft Word 文件（小于 20MB）
• 标题需置于文章首页
• Times New Roman 字体，12 号字，双倍行距
• 若有引用，需标明文内引用及参考文献
• 文件命名方式：姓名 + 类别（如：Sam Zhang, Writing）

• MS Word Format files only (files less than 20 M)
• The title of the work must be placed on the first page of the article
• Times New Roman, 12-point type, double-spaced
• If there are references, please indicate the in-text citation and references
• The file is named by name + category (Sam Zhang, Writing)

演讲作品要求 Speech Requirements

• 演讲须使用 英文
• 视频时长不超过 5 分钟
• 一旦发现抄袭或使用 AI，直接取消资格
• 不得包含任何个人信息

• The speech must be done in English
• Video length must not exceed 5 minutes
• Once the participant is found to plagiarize or use AI, he or she will be disqualified directly.
• Do not include any personal information, such as name, home address, etc

演讲作品格式 Speech Formats

• 请将演讲视频上传至任意一个社交媒体平台（如 Bilibili、YouTube 等），不要直接提交原始视频文件。
• 请在一个 Microsoft Word 文档中附上视频链接（请确保视频已设置为公开可访问）。
• Word 文件命名格式为：姓名 + 组别（例如：Keyi Lin, Speech）。
• 文档中还需注明作品标题（即你所选择回答的题目）。

• Please upload the speech to a social media platform (eg, Bilibili, YouTube, etc.). Do not upload the original video file.
• Include the video link in a Microsoft Word file. (Make sure the video can be accessed by the public.)
• The file is named by name + category (Keyi Lin, Speech)
• The title of the work（the question you choose to answer）must be placed in the file.

艺术作品要求 Art Requirements

• 漫画、音乐、设计、视频、绘画、插图、混合画、摄影、版画
• 作品须为原创。
• 参赛者可以组成不超过2人的团队完成作品，或自己独自完成。
• 不要包括名字、家庭住址等任何个人信息
• 参赛者须提交不少于100词的英文作品陈述

• Works in the form of comic art, design, video, painting and illustration, mixed media, photography, music, printmaking, ceramics
• Participants must complete their work originally. If other works are cited, participants must include in-text citations and a bibliography.
• Once the participant is found to plagiarize or use AI, he or she will be disqualified directly.
• Participants can choose to complete the work in a group of no more than 2 people, or they can choose to complete it by themselves
• Do not include any personal information, such as name, home address, etc
• A written reflection in English(artist’s statement) of more than 100 words is required

艺术作品格式 Art Format

• 视频请以视频链接形式（例如bilibili，youtube etc.）上传，其他作品以PDF作为最终格式上传（例如：某参赛作品为摄影/视频作品，则参赛者可以先建立word文档，在文档中插入作品/视频链接以及作品陈述，转换成PDF形式提交）
• 如有参考作品，请包含文中引用及参考文献
• 文件名由姓名+类别组成（An Li, Art）

• Videos will be uploaded via video link（eg, Bilibili, YouTube, etc.), and other works will be uploaded in PDF files.
• If there are references, please indicate the in-text citation and references
• The file is named by name + category (Julia Lee, Art)

Social Justice Awards Junior Prize 参与要求

活动题目 Prompts:

If you could invent an object or create a policy to end world hunger, what would it be, and how would you use it?

所有参与者必须从以上题目中选择一个作为作品主题，通过写作表达自己的观点。

参与条件 Entry Requirements

任何国家地区任何学校，且年龄在提交截止日期时未超过15岁的青少年均可参加。

写作要求 Writing Requirements

• 作品须以英语写成
• 叙事文或论文（500-1000词）
• 作品须为原创。如有引用他人作品，参与者必须包括文中引用以及参考文献。如发现 有抄袭，参与者将被立即取消资格。不要在文中包括名字、家庭住址等任何个人信息。

• The work must be written in English

• 投稿截止时间：2026 年 9月 10 日（美东时间 EST 晚上 11:59）
• 入围通知：2026 年 10 月 1 日前
• 获奖公布：2026 年 10 月 15 日

奖项设置 Awards

活动设有一等奖、二等奖、三等奖、入围奖以及特别大奖（Social Justice Awards 每个类别各1位，Junior Prize 1位）特别大奖得主将获得由Social Justice Watcher（SJW）颁发的1000元奖金。

参与费用 Entry Fee

200人民币。所有收入将被用于项目运营以及其他非营利性活动。

注意事项

1. 文件一旦上传，不可更改或退款
2. 写作与演讲比赛禁止组队
3. 本次活动组委对活动结果拥有最终裁定权，不接受任何形式的复议。
