协和浦东新学年教师培训回顾 2025-2026 Faculty Training Recap

新的学年悄然启程,熟悉的校园再次热闹起来。8月20日,协和浦东迎来了2025-2026学年的首次全员培训日。四场聚焦实效与关怀的培训活动,为新一年的教学与管理注入了专业力量,也让老师们在交流与共识中重新聚焦“教育的初心”。

01✦ 全员会议:从“新”出发,凝聚共识

上午九点半,随着常务副校长水一帆、党支部书记裘文玮、副校长Daniel Grover的热情致辞,协和浦东2025-2026学年全员大会正式拉开帷幕。会议中,学校管理架构、办学使命与八大品质再次被清晰梳理,新学年重点工作方向也逐一呈现——从教学质量提升,到班主任队伍建设,从康桥校区的平稳过渡到协和浦东品牌声誉的持续深化,处处体现出学校对于“稳中求进”的战略步调。

老师们还回顾了过去一年的学业成果与课程发展,同时也被激励着去思考:“这个暑假,是否带来了让你焕然一新的教学灵感?”

02✦ 心理培训:让支持“可见”,让联结发生

心理健康教育始终是协和浦东育人体系的重要组成部分。本次培训由我校心理组组长唐靓仪主讲,分别服务于小学、初中与高中学段。她围绕“心理健康在校园中的真实意义”、“学生行为支持机制”以及“心理转介流程”等核心议题展开分享。

培训特别强调:心理工作的本质是“支持”——支持学生情绪调节、支持家校沟通、支持教师课堂管理。我们希望每一位老师都知道,心理组不是“最后一道防线”,而是我们共同教育中的并肩同行者。

03✦ 反欺凌培训:用法律的视角守护学生

校园欺凌的界定、识别与应对,是每一位教育工作者都需要了解并掌握的内容。此次培训邀请来自上海中夏律师事务所的专业律师团队,为老师们梳理了《学生欺凌的四要素》《学校三人小组及七人委员会机制》《教师处理流程与法律责任》等内容。

培训结合大量真实案例,帮助老师们厘清“打闹”与“欺凌”的边界,也强化了“及时报告、妥善处理、规范记录”的专业意识,为建设更安全、更有爱的校园环境提供了坚实法治保障。

04✦ 外籍教师员工手册培训:规则之中,关照之上

对于新老外教老师来说,清晰而透明的政策手册是他们顺利融入教学与校园生活的重要保障。本次由副校长Daniel Grover与人事部带领的培训,围绕核心规范与工作要求展开,帮助大家在新学年中更有底气、更有方向地开展工作。

我们始终相信:尊重、信任与专业,是学校与教师之间良性合作的基石。

A new academic year quietly unfolds, and the familiar campus once again comes alive with energy. On August 20th, SUIS Pudong held its first faculty training day for the 2025-2026 school year. Four focused sessions—each emphasizing professionalism and care—brought fresh strength to our teaching and management, while reminding every teacher to reconnect with the true essence of education.

01✦ Whole Staff Meeting: Starting Anew, Building Consensus

At 9:30 a.m., the 2025-2026 school year officially began with inspiring speeches by Executive Vice Principal Wendy Shui, CCP Branch Secretary Jo Qiu, and Vice Principal Daniel Grover. The meeting reaffirmed the school's management structure, mission, and eight core qualities, while outlining the year's key priorities—from improving teaching quality, to strengthening the homeroom teacher team, to ensuring a smooth transition to the Kangqiao campus and further enhancing the reputation of SUIS Pudong.

Teachers also reflected on the past year's academic achievements and curriculum progress, while being encouraged to ask themselves: "Has this summer inspired you with new ideas for your teaching?"

02✦ Mental Health Training: Making Support Visible, Building Connections

Mental health education is a vital part of SUIS Pudong's whole-child development framework. This session, led by our Head Counselor Blair Tang together with the counseling team for Primary, Middle, and High School, explored key topics such as "What mental health means in a school setting," "Student behavior support mechanisms," and "Referral processes."

The training emphasized that the essence of mental health work is support—supporting students in emotional regulation, supporting communication between school and families, and supporting teachers in classroom management. Our counseling team is not the "last line of defense," but rather a team of partners walking alongside us in education.

03✦ Anti-Bullying Training: Safeguarding Students Through a Legal Lens

Understanding how to define, identify, and address bullying is essential for every educator. For this training, SUIS Pudong invited a professional legal team from Zhongxia Law Firm, who provided clear guidance on the "Four Elements of Bullying," the role of the "School Anti-Bullying Committee," and teachers' responsibilities in reporting and handling cases.

With practical case studies, the training helped teachers distinguish between "playful conflicts" and genuine bullying, while reinforcing the importance of timely reporting, careful documentation, and responsible action—all to ensure a safer and more caring school environment.

04✦ Staff Handbook Training for Expat Teachers: Clarity and Care

For both new and returning expat teachers, a clear and transparent staff handbook is essential for navigating daily work and campus life. Vice Principal Daniel Grover and the HR team guided teachers through the key expectations and professional standards, helping everyone enter the new year with greater confidence and direction.

At SUIS Pudong, we believe that respect, trust, and professionalism form the foundation of our strong and positive partnership with every teacher.

05✦ A New Semester: Not Just Returning, but Setting Sail

Every training is a recalibration of our professional focus; every gathering is a reaffirmation of our shared mission.
