LWS distinguished itself among numerous schools through its exceptional AP curriculum system and forward-thinking educational philosophy, earning the official designation as a “2025 AP Capstone Honor School in China.” This recognition is not merely an honor—it marks a milestone in the international accreditation of our school's academic excellence!

This year's China Annual Conference of the University Council stands as a truly global feast of educational ideas. Representatives from top universities across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region gathered alongside renowned domestic education experts to collectively chart the future of international education in the era of artificial intelligence. The designation of “AP Capstone Honor School in China” carries far greater significance than ordinary awards.

什么是AP Capstone？

它是由美国大学理事会打造的顶尖学术项目，包含AP研讨课(AP Seminar)和研究课(AP Research)，旨在培养学生严谨的学术研究能力、协同合作及公开演讲的软实力。它被誉为“AP课程皇冠上的明珠”。

It is a premier academic program developed by the College Board, comprising AP Seminar and AP Research courses designed to cultivate students' rigorous academic research skills, collaborative abilities, and public speaking soft skills.

荣誉为何重要？

目前全国开设AP课程的学校近500所，而此次获得该称号的仅37所，上海市获此殊荣的学校仅有10所。此荣誉仅授予在全球AP项目中展现出最高教学标准和学生成果的学校。获此殊荣，证明美高学校已成功构建了一套成熟、高效且成果斐然的AP Capstone培养体系，其教学质量与全球顶尖标准接轨。

Currently, nearly 500 schools nationwide offer AP courses, yet only 37 institutions have earned this designation—with just 10 schools in Shanghai receiving this distinction. This honor is reserved exclusively for schools demonstrating the highest teaching standards and student achievements within the global AP program.
