Over the past two months of this semester, SMCS has witnessed countless shining moments among our students: from actively asking questions in class, to taking responsibility in PBL projects, from expressing their own opinions, to courageously stepping out of their comfort zones again and again. Each change is genuine and precious.

因此,本次家长会以“感恩月”为主题,为家长和孩子共同搭建一个能够对齐学习进度、共育成长目标的开放式空间。在这里,家长不仅能看到成绩背后的努力,还能看见孩子在课堂表现、学习习惯、责任意识、情绪管理等方面的变化。当学校与家庭同频,孩子的成长就会被彻底激活。这一次的相聚,我们不只是交流分数,更是共同探讨——如何让孩子成为那个“更好的自己”。
Therefore, this parent-teacher meeting, themed around "Gratitude Month," provides an open space for parents and children toalign on learning progressandjointly cultivate growth goals. Here,parents can not only see the effort behind the grades but also observe changes in their children's classroom engagement, study habits, sense of responsibility, and emotional management.When school and family are in sync, a child's growth is fully activated. This gathering is not just about discussing scores—it is about exploring together how to help children becomethe best version of themselves.

本月正值“感恩月”,会场入口的墙面上贴着写有每位学生名字的便签,便签的背后是家长和孩子需要完成的一件属于彼此的小事——“去一次博物馆”、“一起去海边”、“一起泡温泉”。
This month, coinciding with "Gratitude Month," the entrance of the venue was decorated with sticky notes bearing each student's name. On the back of each note was a small task for the parent and child to complete together—such as"visit a museum," "go to the beach," or "enjoy a hot spring together."
我们相信,成长从不是轰轰烈烈的大事,而是一次次真实的陪伴与参与。
We believe that growth is never about grand gestures, but about the genuine moments of companionship and participation.
期中报告
Midterm Report
班主任们为每位学生准备了期中成长分析报告,老师们不仅关注成绩,还从课堂表现、学习习惯、责任意识到学习方法等方面进行全景式反馈。这份报告呈现的不是数字,而是每一次努力与改变。
Homeroom teachers prepared mid-term growth analysis reports for each student. These reports focus not only onacademic performancebut also provide panoramic feedback onclassroom engagement,study habits,sense of responsibility, andlearning methods. What these reports reflect are not numbers, but every effort and change along the way.

Face-to-Face with Subject Teachers
— Every Step Matters
此次家长会采用“学科教师咨询角 × 1v1 深度对话”的形式,帮助家长们全面了解孩子的课堂表现、作业质量、未来发展及升学方向。英语、数学、人文、艺术、德语、升学指导团队及校长到场,为孩子的成长提供全方位支持与保障。
This parent-teacher meeting adopted a "Subject Consultation Corner × 1-on-1 Deep Conversation" format, allowing parents to fully understand their child's classroom performance, homework quality, future development, and academic pathways. Teachers from English, Mathematics, Humanities, Arts, German, the university guidance team, as well as the principals, were all present to provide comprehensive support for student growth.

在沟通中,家长们亲眼见证了孩子的成长:从腼腆、害怕沟通,到变得主动表达;从拖延习惯,到掌握高效的时间管理;从依赖电子设备,到培养阅读与探索的兴趣。每一个习惯与性格的变化,都见证了他们在成长为独树一帜的创新型人才的道路上稳步前行。
During conversations, parents witnessed their children's growth firsthand: from being shy and hesitant to becoming more willing to express themselves; from procrastination to developing efficient time-management skills; from relying on electronic devices to cultivating a love for reading and exploration. Every shift in habit and character reflects steady progress on their journey to becoming innovative individuals with their own unique strengths.
在学业方面,学科老师们提出了专业而具体的建议:对于学科优势,给予及时肯定以强化学习动力;对于薄弱环节,不仅指出问题,更提供可执行的方法和改进路径。艺术与德语方向的老师,也为家长解读了学习计划与作品集发展路线,帮助孩子将天马行空的创意转化为真实的表达。升学方面,Rocky 老师团队以专业数据为依据,帮助家长清晰了解孩子的学术能力及未来升学方向。
Academically, subject teachers offered professional and actionable feedback:strengths were acknowledgedto reinforce motivation, while areas for improvement were accompanied byclear strategies and paths forward. Art and German teachers explainedstudy plansandportfolio development routes, helping transform imaginative thinking into real, tangible expression. Meanwhile, Teacher Rocky's university guidance team useddata-driveninsights to help parents clearly understand students' academic abilities and potential higher-education pathways.
