觉得做conduct a survey，written形式还是interview形式更好

审题注意点:

(1)这是道新题.

在10号的ETS成都托福体验日上，官方人员透露ETS正在大力研发新题，将对题库进行大量更新，以确保改革后考试的公平性。然而，对于学术讨论写作（Academic Discussion）中的题目是否有保留，他们并未给出明确答案。

老师我根据ETS在23年的改革逻辑分析认为，目前我们接触到的新题，极大可能会出现在改革后的新考试中。大家留意。但是这道新题，现在网上的回忆很少，所以老师只能根据这个版本的题目简单做分析。考试时，大家以以实际考试题目为准。

(2) conduct a survey:

相信所有同学都做为完成自己的论文搜集过数据，做过调查。

或者自己填写过问卷 or 被访问过。

我们团里暑假后, 也在团结束后给大家发过问卷调查所以大家应该不陌生。

调查一般就分为这2种形式：

1. 问卷调查。比如通过 “问卷星”“腾讯问卷”，或者纸质的调查。

2. 访谈。 类似于“鲁豫有约”。大家可能接触得少，因为显而易见的原因--做一次访问耗时长。

所以这2种调查方式有显著的不同，很容易找到对比点进行分析。

1. 【成本角度】：

-- 问卷形式， 最简单，方便。尤其是在线问卷，几乎分发成本为0. 很容易覆盖大量群体(wide reach), 能轻易地获得大量的样本(large sample size).；② 都是数据化的选择等，放方便后期数据统计分析。

- 访谈：时间和人力成本很高。需要预约，访谈，分析整理，每一步都需要消耗大量的人力和时间，high cost.

2. 【数据质量角度】:

--现在问卷太多了，人们容易忽略，导致回复率低(response rate), 样本代表性不足(lack of representativenss)

- 访谈：① 虽然数量少，但是能确保是真正的目标群体(target audience), 样本质量高。

② 访谈过程灵活，可以根据情况调整，提出更有针对性的新问题。

3. 【受访者角度】：

-问卷: 一般是匿名(anonymity),更容易分享真实的想法.

- 访谈：可能因为个人偏见(bias), 或者受访谈者的引导，影响数据的客观性(objectivity).

👩🏻‍🏫：当然也有同学可能想到，这2种方式各有优劣，就可以分情况而定。取决于调查的目的，如果是想了解宏观的趋势，需要数据化的统计，就用问卷调查。如果是深入研究分析复杂事物的成因等，就用 访谈。

但是，老师个人是不建议大家在实际托福考试中使用 中立 or视情况而定的写作方法。因为这种写作方式对逻辑分类的要求比较高。而且相当于把一篇作文，当成了2篇来写。远远高于托福写作要求。

所以，就简单一边倒即可。
