实验室由韩国欧巴级PI 李正俊博士(Dr. Jungjoon Lee) 带队,专注于下一代基因编辑技术开发与安全性评估。李博士在团队中非常关注中国学者,一直以来对中国学生和博士后都特别支持和友好。这次招聘更是明确希望招收两名中国博士后,一起把基因编辑的科研成果推向新高度。
这次我们要找的是两位勇敢无畏的博士后小伙伴:
岗位 1:基因编辑 · 定向进化
主要玩转:噬菌体定向进化、蛋白工程、突变库构建、NGS高通量分析,还有在哺乳动物/原代细胞里的功能验证。
你将会做的事:
- 用噬菌体、E.coli 或人类细胞做定向进化,把基因编辑蛋白“练成更强王者”。
- 搭建突变体库、筛选编辑效果,并用NGS读出结果。
- 在哺乳动物和原代细胞里测功能,不止停留在试管里。
- 指导学弟学妹,和PI一起头脑风暴。
我们希望你有:
- 生物技术、生物化学、生命科学等相关专业博士学位。
- 扎实的分子克隆、文库构建经验。
- 对噬菌体系统不陌生(或者有超强学习热情)。
- 有NGS和基因编辑经验更佳。
- 国际期刊发文记录加分。
岗位2:基因编辑脱靶全景剖析
主要研究:不同染色质/细胞环境下的全基因组编辑数据,结合AI模型预测编辑安全性。
你将会做的事:
- 在永生化细胞、原代细胞、3D类器官里做基因编辑实验。
- 开发测序技术,精准捕捉DNA切割和编辑事件。
- 同时操作 Cas9、碱基编辑器、引物编辑器。
- 与计算团队合作,把实验数据融进AI模型,提升安全预测力。
我们希望你有:
- 分子生物学、生物化学或生物技术等相关专业博士学位。
- 丰富的基因编辑和哺乳动物细胞培养经验。
- 熟练掌握分子克隆、核酸提取、PCR/qPCR、NGS工作流程。
- 有功能基因组学或高通量筛选经验优先。
- 发表过不错的科研论文。

Research Fellow (Postdoctoral) Positions — Genome Editing & Off‑Target Profiling

We are recruiting outstanding postdoctoral Research Fellows across two complementary directions in cutting‑edge genome editing. Candidates may indicate interest in one or both roles.
Position A —
Genome Editing (Directed Evolution)
Focus:Phage‑based directed evolution of genome editing proteins; protein engineering; mutant library construction; NGS‑based readouts; validation in mammalian and primary cells.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and perform phage, E.coli or human cell based directed evolution to engineer novel genome editing proteins with improved properties.
- Rationally identify protein engineering sites and build diverse mutant libraries.
- Execute functional assays in mammalian and primary cells to quantify editing efficiency and performance.
- Analyze outcomes using next‑generation sequencing (NGS) and complementary molecular assays.
- Mentor research assistants, graduate and undergraduate students; collaborate closely with the PI and team on planning and troubleshooting.
- Perform other duties as delegated by the PI and group leads.
Qualifications
- PhD in Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry or related field.
- Hands‑on experience in molecular cloning, library construction, and microbial genetics.
- Familiarity with (or strong motivation to learn) phage systems for directed protein evolution.
- Strong critical thinking, independence, and teamwork; NGS‑based genome editing experience is a plus.
- Track record of publications in international, peer‑reviewed journals.
Appointment & Salary
Initial 1‑year contract, renewable based on performance and funding; salary commensurate with qualifications and experience (NUS standards).
Position B —
CRISPR Genome‑wide Off‑Target Profiling
Focus:Generate and analyze genome‑wide editing datasets across diverse chromatin/cellular contexts; integrate with AI models to improve safety prediction; work across Cas9, base editors, and prime editors.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and run genome editing experiments in immortalized lines, primary cells, and 3D organoid cultures.
- Develop/optimize sequencing‑based assays to capture DNA cleavage/editing events at high resolution; manage QC, library prep, and sample tracking for large‑scale workflows.
- Coordinate multi‑tool experiments (Cas9, base editors, prime editors).
- Supervise and train junior team members.
- Collaborate closely with computational colleagues to integrate experimental data into predictive AI models; contribute to manuscripts, presentations, and reports.
Qualifications
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related life sciences.
- Extensive hands‑on experience with genome editing and mammalian cell culture.
- Strong skills in molecular cloning, nucleic acid extraction, PCR/qPCR, and NGS workflows.
- Experience in functional genomics or high‑throughput screening is advantageous; familiarity with primary cells/3D cultures is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot independently, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a collaborative environment; strong publication record.
Funding & Salary
Position supported by a Ministry of Education (MOE) Tier‑2 grant; salary commensurate with qualifications and experience (NUS standards).
