1. Marketing management is a process of controlling the marketing aspects, setting the goals of a company, organizing the plans step by step, taking decisions for the firm, and executing them to get the maximum turn over by meeting the consumers' demands.
E.g.: insurance, and stock brokerage companies, professional service providers.

2. The business plan refers to a document setting out a business's future objectives and strategies for achieving them.

3. The intellectual property refers to creation of the mind.
E.g.: inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; and symbols, names and images used in commerce.

4. Multinational refers to a company operating in several countries.
E.g.: Microsoft, Google, Coca-Cola

5. Perpetual inventory is a continuous accounting practice that records inventory changes in real-time.
E.g.: grocery stores - each time a product is bought and scanned, the system updates inventory levels in the database.
