知名高中学术论文竞赛又要开始啦！
John Locke 约翰·洛克论文竞赛已于2月28日发布题目！
John Locke Essay Competition 约翰·洛克论文竞赛是由位于英国牛津的独立教育组织John Locke Institute与牛津、普林斯顿、布朗、白金汉大学等名校教授合作组织的学术项目，其评审全部来自英国牛津大学，参赛对象为全世界范围内思考能力强的中学生。
竞赛优势
John Locke论文竞赛的奖项都由以牛津大学为主的学者团体评定。比赛受到英美各大优质院校的认可，是近几年社科类含金量最高的竞赛之一。
在比赛中获得distinction可以大幅提升美国和英国大学本科申请竞争力。往年参与学生录取了包括普林斯顿、哈佛、耶鲁、斯坦福、芝加哥、伯克利、牛津、剑桥等世界名校。
2022题目
哲学：
Q1. How likely is the multiverse? Would it change anything if (somehow) we came to know the theory was true? 多元宇宙的可能性有多大？如果我们知道这个理论是正确的，它会改变什么吗？
Q2. Q3. Is there any mental illness that isn’t ultimately physical? 有没有最终不是身体上的精神疾病？
Q4. Does it even make sense to hate someone for his or her opinions? 因为某人的意见而讨厌某人是否有意义？

参赛规则
论文要求：在经济、历史、哲学、神学、心理学、法律、政治等七个学科题目中选取一个题目，撰写一篇2000字以内的论文（不包括图表、数据表、脚注、参考书目或作者声明）；
请通过John Locke官方网站提交论文，以pdf格式保存。pdf附件的标题应为姓氏、名字、类别、问题编号。
适合学生：各个国家及学校的学生都可以参与。高中组：15岁~18岁；初中组：15岁及以下。

通知入围候选人：2022年7月14日
颁奖晚宴：2022年8-9月
评估标准：
评委将根据论文中对相关材料的知识和理解水平、证据的有效使用、论证的质量、结构、写作风格和说服力进行评判。建议考生尽可能准确、直接地回答问题。
