2026年度藤校赛事系列第24届哥伦比亚大学大学邀请赛（2026 Columbia University Invitational 24th annual）现已开始报名。

哥伦比亚大学邀请赛将于2026年1月30-2月1日举行，项目设置如下：

1、分组标准

Noviceis defined as a student in their first season (2025-26) of debate competition at any academic level.

Middle Schoolindicates students enrolled in grades 6-8, regardless of their number of years of experience.

2、辩题及赛事安排

Lincoln-Douglas Debate

2026 January（二选一）

Resolved: The possession of nuclear weapons is immoral.Resolved: On balance, geoengineering is moral.

Lincoln-Douglas will follow the 6-3-7- 3-4-6-3 format, with 4 minutes of prep time. Ties will be broken based on record, adjusted points, total points, double-adjusted points, judge variance, opponent wins, and flip of a coin, in that order. The break will depend on the number of teams registered.

Public Forum Debate

2026 January（二选一）

Resolved: The People's Republic of China should substantially reduce its international extraction of natural resourcesResolved: The benefits of the African Continental Free Trade Area outweigh the harms.

Ties will be broken using the same criteria as Lincoln-Douglas Debate. The event will probably break into double-octofinals.
