Stanford Summer Session offers high school students opportunities to study with a dynamic, diverse student body from more than 60 countries, with the opportunity to earn credit and an official transcript from Stanford.

Program Dates: June 20 – August 16, 2026
学生可选择走读或住宿。走读学生必须至少修满5个学分,住宿学生必须至少修满8个学分。
Students who commute must take a minimum of 5 units. Students who live on campus must take a minimum of 8.

Application Requirements
斯坦福夏校申请条件:
- 必须是高中10-12年级学生;
- 在2025年6月21日项目开始时至少16岁,在2025年8月17日项目结束时不超过19岁。
To be eligible to attend Summer Session as a high school student, you must:
- Be a current sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of application.
- Be at least 16 at the start of the program, June 21, 2025, and no more than 19 by the last day, August 17, 2025. There are no exceptions to these age restrictions.
- Not be matriculating into Stanford as a first year.

- Standardized test scores (not required) & english proficiency (Applicants whose native language is not English must submit iBT TOEFL-100, IELTS: Academic-7.0, Cambridge Exam, Duolingo-120, TOEIC, or PTEA scores.)
- One letter of recommendation from a teacher or counselor
- One essay (250-300 words)
- Activities List (optional)
Essay prompts:
Respond to ONE of the following questions in 250-300 words.
- What strength or quality do you have that most people might not see or recognize?
- Reflect on a time when you questioned or challenged a belief or idea. What prompted your thinking? What was the outcome?
- Pick one person- a historical figure, fictitious character, or modern individual– to converse with for an hour, and explain your choice
- Reflect on something that someone has done for you that has made you happy or thankful in a surprising way. How has this gratitude affected or motivated you?
